Du Lingyan: Female. Judge Du is a Senior Judge (Third Grade). Since 2008, she has been engaged in intellectual property adjudication work and currently serves as a Presiding Judge of the First Intellectual Property Tribunal of the Shanghai Intellectual Property Court. She has been recognized as an Individual with Outstanding Achievements in National Intellectual Property Protection and as an Advanced Individual in Intellectual Property Adjudication by the Supreme People’s Court.
Cases she presided over have been selected as the “50 Typical Intellectual Property Judicial Protection Cases of Chinese Courts” and the “Top 10 Typical Copyright Cases of Shanghai.” One judgment she authored won the Third Prize in the National Courts’ Outstanding Judgments in Technical Intellectual Property and Anti-Monopoly Cases. Multiple judgments and court hearings she handled were selected among the “100 Outstanding Judgments” and “100 Model Court Hearings” of the Shanghai High People’s Court.
She has published multiple articles in professional journals such as People’s Justice, Journal of Law Application, and Science, Technology and Law.
