Qian Guangwen: Male. Mr. Qian holds a Master of Laws degree and is a Senior Judge (Second Grade). He is an Adjudication Expert of the Shanghai Courts. He previously served as Presiding Judge of the Third Civil Division of the Huangpu District People’s Court of Shanghai and as Deputy Presiding Judge of the Third Civil Division of the Shanghai High People’s Court. He currently serves as a Member of the Adjudication Committee of the Shanghai Intellectual Property Court and Presiding Judge of the Second Intellectual Property Tribunal.
With more than 20 years of experience in intellectual property adjudication, Mr. Qian has focused on intellectual property trial practice, actively participated in the adjudication of complex and difficult cases, and accumulated extensive judicial experience. He has presided over a number of socially influential and new-type cases. He has published multiple papers in journals such as Intellectual Property and People’s Justice.
Multiple cases he presided over were selected among the “Top 10 Intellectual Property Cases of Chinese Courts” and the “50 Typical Intellectual Property Cases of Chinese Courts.” Multiple judgments were selected as National Outstanding Intellectual Property Judgments, and multiple cases were selected as the “Top 10 Intellectual Property Judicial Protection Cases of Shanghai Courts” and the Shanghai Courts “Four Hundreds” Cases.
As an expert respondent on the Legal Q&A Platform of the People’s Courts, he has answered more than 100 inquiries. He has presided over nine research projects approved by the Shanghai Courts and the Shanghai Intellectual Property Court.
