Liu Junhua : Member of the Communist Party of China; in-service postgraduate; Doctor of Laws.Mr. Liu has previously served as Assistant Judge and Judge of the Shanghai High People’s Court; Deputy Presiding Judge and Presiding Judge of the Fifth Civil Division of the Shanghai No. 1 Intermediate People’s Court; Member of the Adjudication Committee and Presiding Judge of the First Intellectual Property Tribunal of the Shanghai Intellectual Property Court; and Member of the Adjudication Committee and Presiding Judge of the Intellectual Property Tribunal of the Shanghai High People’s Court.

He has a solid foundation in legal theory and strong professional expertise in intellectual property adjudication. He has adjudicated a number of intellectual property cases with significant impact in Shanghai and nationwide, with multiple cases included in the Gazette of the Supreme People’s Court or selected as the Top 10 Typical Cases on Intellectual Property Protection of the Supreme People’s Court.

Focusing on the development of Shanghai as an international science and innovation center, Mr. Liu took the lead in formulating the Several Opinions of the People’s Courts on Strengthening Judicial Protection of Intellectual Property and has presided over or participated in multiple national-level and provincial-level or ministerial-level research projects.
