Xi Jianlin :Member of the Communist Party of China; Master of Laws.Mr. Xi has previously served as Director of the Research Office and Director of the General Office of the Shanghai High People’s Court, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and President of the Hongkou District People’s Court, and Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and President of the Minhang District People’s Court. He is a National Expert in Trial Practice of the People’s Courts.
He has presided over multiple major, complex, and difficult cases. Among them, one case was selected as a Guiding Case of the Supreme People’s Court, one case was included in the Gazette of the Supreme People’s Court, and two court hearings were selected among the “Top 100 Outstanding Court Hearings of Courts Nationwide.” In addition, more than ten cases, judgments, and court hearings were selected for the Shanghai Courts’ “Four Hundreds” program.
Mr. Xi has presided over nine national-level research projects and fifteen provincial- and ministerial-level research projects, and has authored or co-authored more than ten academic monographs. He has published over fifty academic articles in publications including People’s Court Daily and China Journal of Applied Jurisprudence. More than ten articles have received awards in national academic conferences and paper evaluation activities within the court system. He has also been repeatedly invited to deliver practice-oriented courses at universities such as Fudan University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, East China University of Political Science and Law, and Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.
