On September 8, 2016, Presiding Judge Liu Junhua visited JETRO Shanghai for mutual exchanges as appointed. He made a detailed introduction to the organization structure, staff structure and operations of Shanghai Intellectual Property Court, compared it with other intellectual property courts and elaborated further on the effective trials of intellectual property cases, formation of specialized trial pattern and constant deepening of trial openness. After the meeting, Presiding Judge Liu Junhua answered questions about the concerns of Japanese enterprises patiently, professionally and thoroughly, such as questions on prohibitions, preservation of evidence, technological investigators and expert juries, which allowed them to better understand the new mechanisms and initiatives of Shanghai Intellectual Property Court for the protection of intellectual property rights, helped them to dispel their doubts and improved the influence of Shanghai Intellectual Property Court.
