On the morning of April 13 when the 17th World Intellectual Property Day is coming, Office of Judge Chen Huizhen visited Zhangjiang High-tech Industrial Development Zone to carry out an intellectual property publicity activity, which was organized by Shanghai Intellectual Property Court and the Management Committee of Zhangjiang High-tech Industrial Development Zone jointly, attended by Director of No.2 Intellectual Property Tribunal of Shanghai Intellectual Property Court, Chen Huizhen, Deputy Director of Coordination Unit, Management Committee of Zhangjiang High-tech Industrial Development Zone, Jiang Yuying, and judges, judge assistants and related staff from No.1 Intellectual Property Tribunal, No.2 Intellectual Property Tribunal, Case Acceptance Tribunal and Enforcement Bureau of Shanghai Intellectual Property Court (Shanghai No. 3 Intermediate People's Court). Representatives of Advanced Micro-Fabrication Equipment Inc (AMEC), Kohler Electronics, 3S Guojian Pharmeceutical (Shanghai) Co., Ltd and other enterprises were also present, who raised the problems existing in their IPR management and protection. Director Chen Huizhen and the judges and judge assistants answered these questions in details, exchanged views with them on common omissions and risks during their IPR work, and put forward suggestions on how to protect their intellectual property rights and business secrets and to avoid legal risks and infringements during their daily activities. Director Chen Huizhen also introduced the background, functions and work results of her office so far, and announced its reception time and e-mail address. At the event, Typical Intellectual Property Cases written by Shanghai Intellectual Property Court, Litigation Guidance of Shanghai Intellectual Property Court and Slip Laws were distributed. Enterprise representatives said that the publicity activity was helpful, judges' answers were targeted and casebooks were easy to understand, which provide effective guidance for the daily intellectual property management and protection of enterprises.
