Recently, with the strong support of the Patent Office of the State Intellectual Property Office, Chen Li, Deputy Director of the subordinate No.3 Control Division, Optoelectronic Department, visited Shanghai Intellectual Property Court as technical investigator. Chen Li was graduated from South China University of Technology, majoring in computer software and post-graduated from this university majoring in computer application. Since 2003, she has been engaged in patent examination and reexamination at the Optoelectronic Department in such fields as computer control, control system, transmission system, traffic control, coin-operated equipment, general banking system and so on. As an international-oriented talented person, Chen Li has a deep study of the patent policies in the United States, Japan, Europe and many other countries, and once gave lectures many times in Beijing Center and Tianjin Center, etc. Upon her arrival, judges consulted her about patent questions and appointed her to appear in the court sessions of one of the cases. Her visit will promote the trial quality and efficiency of our patent cases positively.
