On the morning of July 4, a delegation of Standing Committee of Anhui Provincial People's Congress including Jiang Houlin, a member of the Standing Committee of Anhui Provincial People's Congress and the vice chairman of the Committee for Internal and Judicial Affairs, and Yuan Chun, a member of the Party Group of the Provincial High Court and a full-time member of the Judicial Committee etc. in the company of the staff of Shanghai People's Congress of Committee for Internal and Judicial Affairs, visited Shanghai Intellectual Property Court to investigate the judicial work and judicial reform on intellectual property. Chen Yajuan, the president of Shanghai Intellectual Property Court, Li Shulan, the vice-president of Shanghai Intellectual Property Court, and the persons-in-charge of relevant departments of No. 3 Civil Court of Shanghai High Court and Shanghai Intellectual Property Court attended the discussion. Jiang Houlin and the other delegates visited the litigation service center, and Zhang Benyong, the chief judge of the No.3 Civil Court of Shanghai High Court and Li Shulan, the vice-president of Shanghai Intellectual Property Court, respectively introduced the basic situations of the all the courts in Shanghai and Shanghai Intellectual Property Court in the aspects of trial structure, trial mode, personnel and function performance as well as the reform of the judicial system and mechanism of intellectual property. Both parties exchanged views in terms of multiple technical fact-finding mechanism, “three-in-one” trial of intellectual property, unification of applicable laws and diversified dispute settlement mechanism. The vice-chairman Jiang Houlin expressed his gratitude to Shanghai High Court and Shanghai Intellectual Property Court for sharing and exchange, stating that Shanghai ranks among the top across China in terms of intellectual property trials and they benefited a lot from this visit to Shanghai Intellectual Property Court for exchange; the trial work of intellectual property of Anhui is still in its infancy stage and hoped that they can give full play to the location advantage of Yangtze River delta to further enhance the communication and exchange with Shanghai High Court and Shanghai Intellectual Property Court. Chen Yajuan, the president of Shanghai Intellectual Property Court, welcomed the brother court of Anhui to visit the Intellectual Property Court for investigation and exchange, and said that they could learn from each other in terms of advanced experiences of intellectual property trials and jointly promote the reform and innovation of the judicial system and mechanism of intellectual property so as to provide strong judicial safeguard for the implementation of national strategies.
