On the morning of October 24, more than 10 members of the overseas research team organized by the Japan Intellectual Property Association visited the Shanghai Intellectual Property Court(hereinafter referred to as SIPC) and exchanged opinions with their counterparts. Chen Huizhen, Member of the Full-time Adjudication Committee of SIPC, and Ling Song, Vice President of the No. 1 Intellectual Property Tribunal of SIPC, received the guests. Before the symposium, the membersof the research group visited the litigation service center of SIPC. At the symposium, Chen Huizhen welcomed the visit of Japan's intellectual property association and introduced the overall situation of SIPC and the measures taken to strengthen the judicial protection of intellectual property. Ling Song, Vice President of SIPC, answered questions about the limitation of action ofintellectual property cases, diverse dispute resolution mechanisms and case jurisdiction, etc. Mr. Nagaike Masako from Isuzu Automobile Co., Ltd. briefed on the situation of Japan Intellectual Property Association and expressed his gratitude to SIPC for its reception and the professional answers of the judges.
