On November 7, Chen Yajuan, President of the Shanghai Intellectual Property Court, was invited to attend "International Trade Regulations & Intellectual Property Protection Forum" of the Shanghai International Intellectual Property Form & Global IP Protection and Innovation Development Conference of the first China International Import Expo and delivered a speech at the session of Shanghai Youth Forum. Representatives from China Intellectual Property Society and World Intellectual Property Organization, as well as experts, scholars, lawyers and businessrepresentatives from China, the United States, Japan, and Germany delivered speeches. In her speech, President Chen Yajuan introduced the effortsof the Shanghai Intellectual Property Courtinimplementing the three principles, namely strict, equal and efficient protection of intellectual property rights of Chinese and foreign parties and in creating a business environment offair competition, as well as the achievements of these efforts. She also envisaged the future plan of adhering to reform and innovation, giving play to the leading role of judicial protection, and driving for further opening-up and development, which were highlyappreciated and recognizedby the guests.
