Shanghai No.3 Intermediate People's Court (and Shanghai IPR Court) Responded Positively to Lawyers' Concerns and Received Praises for the "Upgraded" Litigation Services Center
Before the 2016 Spring Festival, Shanghai No.3 Intermediate People’s Court (and Shanghai IPR Court) received a letter from Liu Yuxiu and Jiao Yu, two lawyers with Shanghai Weiju Law Firm, suggesting the courts construct a waiting corridor for safety inspection and canopy at the security entrance and add a dedicated channel for lawyers for the convenience of the concerned parties, by-standers and lawyers. Based on repeated investigations, research, discussion and communication with the property management for several times, Shanghai No.3 Intermediate People's Court ((and Shanghai IPR Court) drew up a scheme and completed the building at the end of May. For the purpose of testing the effects of improvement and better responding to the concerns of lawyers, Shanghai No.3 Intermediate People's Court (and Shanghai IPR Court) invited the two lawyers above-mentioned to visit the site on the morning of June 7. The lawyers highly appreciated the newly-completed reconstruction after visiting the waiting zone for safety inspection and the litigation service center of the courts. They expressed their gratitude for the court’s emphasis on the parties’ concerns, and also said the courts really put themselves in the shoes of involving parties and lawyers. The lawyers then expressed that both lawyers and judges, as joint forces in the legal construction, strove hard for more satisfaction of the concerned parties and believed that the concerned parties would be fully aware of the excellent court litigation service and justice in the course of proceedings.
