During the period from Sept. 6 to Sept. 8, 2016, the 2^nd International IP Court Conference sponsored by Patent Court of Korea was held in Daejeon, South Korea. The conference was themed “courts, intellectual property, and the future”. More than 30 judges and scholars from the United States, Germany, Britain, China, Singapore, Japan and South Korea attended the conference, visited the Patent Court of Korea and electronic court, learned about its history and judicial system, and had extensive interaction and discussion with each other on the challenges and reform of intellectual property litigations, compensation for damages, diversified dispute settlement mechanisms and the evidences of patent litigations.
