On the afternoon of December 12, President Wang Qiuliang and Vice President Li Shulan of Shanghai Intellectual Property Court were invited to attend the International Forum on  "International Exchange and Dispute Settlement Mechanism for IP (Judicial) Protection", at which Vice President Li Shulan delivered a speech. Tao Kaiyuan, Vice President of the Supreme People's Court, Wang Binying, Deputy Director-General of WIPO, Chen Qun, Vice Mayor of Shanghai, Cui Yadong, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and President of Shanghai High People's Court, Song Xiaoming, Director of SPC No.3 Civil Tribunal, Wang Chuang and Lin Guanghai, Deputy Directors of SPC No.3 Civil Tribunal, Zhou Jianianand Xu Jianxin, Vice Presidents of Zhejiang High People's Court, as well as relevant leaders of the State Intellectual Property Office, Pudong Intellectual Property Administration and some provincial and municipal high and intermediate people's courts, guests from WIPO and other countries, experts and scholars from colleges and universities, and media journalists, were also present. The opening ceremony was presided over by GuoWeiqing, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice President of Shanghai High People's Court. Vice President Tao Kaiyuan expressed warm congratulations on the forum, at which the participants made an in-depth discussion on the topic of "International Exchange and Dispute Settlement Mechanism for IP (Judicial) Protection".
