Liu Xiaoyun, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and President of Shanghai High People’s Court, Visited Shanghai No.3 Intermediate People’s Court (Shanghai Intellectual Property Court) to Inspect and Instruct Its Work

On the morning of April 11, Liu Xiaoyun, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and President of Shanghai High People’s Court, led Member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice President Guo Weiqing, as well as relevant department heads of the court to inspectand instruct the work of Shanghai No.3 Intermediate People’s Court (Shanghai Intellectual Property Court, Shanghai Railway Transport Intermediate Court). Wang Qiuliang, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and President of Shanghai No.3 Intermediate People’s Court (Shanghai Intellectual Property Court, Shanghai Railway Transport Intermediate Court), members of the Party Leadership Group, director generals, and relevant department heads attended the symposium.

At Shanghai No.3 Intermediate People’s Court, President Liu Xiaoyun inspected the guide station, litigation service center, centralized information control center, cultural exchange hall and other functional areas. Subsequently, they had a discussion meeting with the staff of Shanghai Oriental Notary Public Office in the court and court staff responsible for answering questions after sentences, at which President Wang Qiuliang reported on the court’s basic situation, main achievements, current difficulties and challenges, and next work plans. President Liu Xiaoyun fully affirmed its achievements over the past three years in promoting judicial reform, giving play to the judicial functions and strengthening team building, and also put forward four requirements on its future work: first, give full play to thejudicial functions and keep pace with the overall economic and social development of Shanghai, so as to provide good judicial services and powerful judicial guarantees for implementing the national strategies; second, adhere to impartial justice strictly, safeguard social fairness and justice, do better in terms of the number, trial quality, efficiency and effects of cases, and strive to make people feel fairness and justice in every judicial case; third, deeply advance the reform of the judicial system with comprehensive integrated reforms, explore or attempt boldly to make the work more efficiently, court more authoritative and internal mechanism more scientific through the reform; consolidate, advance and improve the reform to ensure that it is effective; fourth, always strengthen team building, adhere to the Party’s absolute leadership over the court’s work, give priority to the political work, constantly enhance our professional ability, and insist on strict management to ensure the judicial integrity.
