On the morning of April 24, President Wang Qiuliang, Vice President Li Shulan, and Chen Huizhen, a full-time member of the Judicial Committee of Shanghai Intellectual Property Court, visited Beijing Intellectual Property Court for survey and exchange. Wang Jinshan, the president of Beijing Intellectual Property Court, showed the guests around the litigation service center, tribunals and mediation rooms, volunteer office and culture center, etc, while Song Yushui, the vice president and director of the Political Department, introduced the court's organizational structure, cases accepted, and measures taken in terms of the exploration of speedy trial mechanism, the regulation of malicious preemptive trademark registration and the cultivation of judicial personnel over the past three years since its establishment.Both sides also discussed the operation mode of technical investigator system, the building of court team, and the trial management of cases, etc. President Wang Qiuliang said that Beijing Intellectual Property Court outpaces the nation in both trial work and judicial reform, and has many good experiences and practices for Shanghai Intellectual Property Court to learn from. He hoped that both sides would further strengthen mutual exchanges and jointly improve the level of judicial protection of intellectual property rights.
