Shanghai No.3 Intermediate People's Court (Shanghai Intellectual Property Court, Shanghai Railway Transportation Intermediate Court) Convened a Meeting to Announce the Adjustment of Major Leadership  

President Liu Xiaoyun of Shanghai High People's Court Attended the Meeting and Put Forward Four Requirements

On June 6, Shanghai No.3 Intermediate People's Court (Shanghai Intellectual Property Court, Shanghai Railway Transportation Intermediate Court) convened a meeting to announce the adjustment of major leadership. Liu Xiaoyun, the secretary of the Party Leadership Group and the president of Shanghai High People's Court, Leng Weiqing, the deputy head of the Organization Department of CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, Sheng Yongqiang, the deputy secretary of the Party Leadership Group and the vice president of Shanghai High People's Court, and other leaders attended the meeting. Persons in charge of the Organization Department of CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and relevant departments of Shanghai High People's Court, as well as cadres above middle-level and at division level of Shanghai No.3 Intermediate People's Court, were also present. The vice president Sheng Yongqiang presided over the meeting. The deputy head Leng Weiqing read out the decision of CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and the Standing Committee of Shanghai Municipal People's Congress on appointing Comrade Chen Yajuan as the secretary of the Party Leadership Group and the president of Shanghai No. 3 Intermediate People's Court (Shanghai Intellectual Property Court, Shanghai Railway Transportation Intermediate Court), highly praised the achievements of Wang Qiuliang and Chen Yajuan at their posts, and expressed his expectations. Wang Qiuliang said that he resolutely supported the decision of CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and the Standing Committee of Shanghai Municipal People's Congress, appreciated the cultivation of the Party organization and the support of colleagues, and hoped Shanghai No.3 Intermediate People's Court will make greater achievements under the leadership of the new Party leadership group with Comrade Chen Yajuan as the leader. President Chen Yajuan said in her speech that she would, under the leadership of CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and the Party Leadership Group of Shanghai High People's Court, always adhere to our political orientation, functional orientation and work orientation, maintain a modest attitude, forge ahead in unity, be strict with herselfand strive for better development in the new eratogether with the members of the leadership group and all court staff. President Liu Xiaoyun highly recognized the work of Wang Qiuliang and Chen Yajuan and the achievements made by Shanghai No.3 Intermediate People's Court. She put forward four requirements for the new Party leadership group. First, to do a good job in leadership building, take a clear-cut stand in adhering to the Party's leadership and democratic centralism, and join forces to give full play to the core role of leadership. Second, to adhere to impartial justice strictly, take the initiative to integrate into the overall situation, and make better use of the functions of cross-administrative-division trials and intellectual property trials, so as to serve and safeguard the national strategy and the overall work of Shanghai. Third, to persist in reform and innovation, actively explore and deepen the reform of cross-administrative-division courts and intellectual property courts, fully promote the reform of the judicial system with comprehensive integrated reforms, and ensure that the reform tasks are carried out with conscientiousspirit. Fourth, to adhere to strict self-governance in every respect of the Party, strengthen ideological and political education, vocational capacity building and the building of a clean government to provide strong organizational and talent support for advancing the work of the courts.
