It’s learned that from November to December this year, Shanghai Intellectual Property Court made first-instance judgement for 8 cases of dispute over design patent infringement and 3 cases of dispute over trademark infringement filed by Volvo Lastvagnar Aktiebdag. On the basis of facts ascertained and the nature and circumstances of defendant’s infringement, etc., the court ordered the defendants to stop the infringement and compensate for the plaintiff’s economic losses and reasonable expenses totaling RMB 40, 000 ~ 440,000 respectively.
